ResearchTour Cameroon is a Cameroon registered charity supporting research and advice on sustainable development in Africa & Madagascar. We offer dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams of fully committed professionals. Each team is crafted to the specific requirements of the assignment be it poverty reduction, commercial viability, improved equity and governance or any other facet of the sustainable management of natural resources.

In advising on and implementing solutions for sustainable development problems, our approach is innovative and flexible. Our services include programme design and development, feasibility studies, the development and application of best practice, research, market analysis, technical consultancy, process support, training, as well as monitoring and evaluation. We deliver these through a wide range of inputs from short-term advice to full project management.

The Job and Person Specification: ResearchTour currently has 2 Grant Editor/Proof-reader vacancies. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in development research and/or practice at international level. Demonstrable experience in natural resources management, environmental conservation, and grant writing is necessary. A higher education degree in development studies, natural resources management or a related field is required. Naturally we expect candidates to have adequate knowledge of development issues in Africa, excellent writing and editing skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong analytical expertise. A superior command of English is a must; knowledge of French is an advantage.
This is a 10-month contract (renewable). Working hours are flexible (15 hours a week). We pay $40 per hour. Payment is usually through PayPal. However, successful candidates can arrange an alternative means of payment with us.
