We are looking for an expert Linux administrator to configure cPanel and other tasks as per details below on our dedicated server.
Overall task is to configure the centOS based dedicated server and provide security for the server.
Once the initial task is completed we also need Linux server administrator to take care of regular maintenance of the server.
Server Configuration
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS)
cPanel 10
Access available
SSH
cPanel
Tasks to be done
1) Generic Check to make sure that cPanel is configured correctly
2) suEXEC configuration
This is the main work.
3) Change Ports
cPanel, FTP and SSH ports to be changed.
4) Close all other redundant ports
5) iptable
Check if iptable is enabled or not. If not then enable and configure it.
6) Secure server
7) Any other changes
